FEIJOA

The feijoa, sometimes called the pineapple guava, is made up of a gritty white meat with tiny seeds encased in a rough green skin. The meat is sweet and tastes like a combination of pineapple and mint. The feijoa is a great source of Vitamin C, and is most often enjoyed in jams, jellies, and preserves, but is also good to eat by itself.
