This pale green melon is very sweet, but difficult to determine ripeness. The melon should be oval shaped, about 5.9-8.7 in. long, the skin should be waxy and a whitish-yellow in color. Honeydew grows best in semi-arid conditions and is havested based on its maturity not its size.
